Can you post some pics of them installed on a rifle?  :)

Thanks, Dinny

I'll have to anneal, drill and tap a hammer first, I only have hammers with 4-48 threads in them.  ;)

Here ya go, this is the 6-32 screw and a short section of threaded aluminum sleeve, I turned the head down in the drill press with a file, left it "in the white"  ;D, it weighs 23.3grains, it's the same length as a factory extension.  There's lots of clearance at the barrel release and I left the spur factory length so you can see how much hammer spur you can remove for more clearance, it could be mounted lower on the hammer too, I think the 8-32 version should be mounted lower where the spur is thicker, there's not a lot of meat on both sides of the spur at this position.

It's an FAQs topic, they need to be updated once in a while!  ::)

Tim,
How's the grip? Is there a way to etch some knurling into it for better grip with gloves on?

Thanks, Dinny

Aluminum is pretty soft and easy to work with, you may be able to use a pair of pliers on it to score it or use a triangular file to put some checkering on it.

I know there are some with smaller dia. heads with a longer knurled section (cause I have some temporarily lost in my bins).
