Anybody read this book? I just finished it last week. I often struggle to understand public reaction to many situations in the U.S. But This guys story of his family and country's history gives an outsider like me a better insight into the similarities & the differences between our countries , especially politics

The book was published in Australia recently. I don't know if he had trouble getting a U.S. publisher or they were afraid to print what is a mans frank opinions , experiences and observations .
I would be interested to hear comments + or - from any one who has read the book.
