TC Impact

Wondering if anyone else has tried the new TC yet ?   I picked one up, all blue, fired a few round balls over 60 grns 777 to set sights. The shot a 3 shot group at 25 yrds from a cheap rest, 1 was 295 gr powerbelt over 100 gr Shockeys Gold    2 were 240 gr sabot over 100 gr Shockeys Gold  and all 3 holes could be covered by a 50 cent piece.  If this thing shoots this well at 50 yrds with open sights, I will be impressed !   The only faults I could find are the sights, had to move rear sight left quite a bit, and the factory ramrod.... Its a bit short and hard on the hand.

Yah, I carry a palm saver I picked up for a couple bucks.    They really help.  I also use a heavier range rod to keep the rifle rod in good shape when bench shooting.  Then, if I destroy the rod pushing down heavy conicals, I still have my ramrod intact.

I also picked up a TC universal  aluminum T-handled ramrod.  Much easier on the hands, but no place to carry it if hunting. Only useful for general shooting or cleaning.
