Cutting Encore Butt Stock
« on: September 26, 2010, 12:33:53 PM »
I'm thinking of cutting one of my stocks to fit my son better.I was thinking about cutting it to 11 or 12" LOP.The standard length is just to long for him.As the grow bigger I figure I can just put on one of the slip on butt pads to make it longer.

Has anyone ever cut one of these before.

Thanks
jake

If you get a wood stock you can always wack a chunk off and then later ad sections of it back on as he grows.  I did this with a wood stock on a 22lr for my son and it worked well.  Just glue & screw the sections back on as he grows.

They make a youth stock for the Encore I do believe.   I got one for my Contender from Ed's Contender
