Oklahoma Highway Patrol
« on: October 06, 2010, 05:10:47 AM »
Seems an elderly gentleman started his second childhood, grew a pony tail, and went to town to buy a new car.
Looked all over town at nice sports cars and settled on a corvette. Paid cash and drove it off the lot and hit the highway.
Wind blowing in his hair, and not a care in the world he let the speedo drift up to 80 until flashing lights in the rear view mirror got his attention.
He quickly acclerated to 90, then 100, then 110, and finally decided "I'm to old for this" and pulled over to the shoulder.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol Trooper walked up to the window, looked at the license and registration, and told the old guy "Look I get off in 30 minutes and don't want to have to do more paper work. If you have a good enough story that I haven't heard a hundred times before about why your going so fast, I'll let you off"
Old guy says "Well officer, 10 years ago my wife of twenty years ran off with an OHP trooper. I thought you were trying to bring her back"

OHP replied "Have a nice day sir".
"All my life I've had a bad case of the Fred's. Fredrick Vanderbilt taste on a Fred Sanford budget." CR
