George , your Dargoon is probably shooting high ....way high . I had too add a very tall front blade sight for the 2nd model I own .

I've found cap and balls with the little Colts bead type sight that they and Remingtons 1858's too , almost always shoot very high .

I'll have more time to investigate this the next time I take it out.

But my Remingtons (a Lyman and an EMF) both shoot to point of aim.
