just purchased this mold off ebay for my 45 ruger blackhawk.its a 230 grn micro groove tumble lube mold.any of yuall useing this mold for 45 lc.im hopeing to use it for moderate loads with reddot powder.im new to the tumble lube thing with alox. it looks easy and cheap. im sure theres a reason for that. im not looking for supreme accuracy, jus a decent shooting load thats fun and cheap.it will be used mostly for paper punching and truck gun for small game and maybe a small deer once in awhile.any experience with it would be appreciated.

I haven't used it, but maybe someone here has.  ;)  I had looked at that and several others, but decided it was getting too close to deer season to start trying to learn molding.  lol  That'll be the post January project this year.  ;)

I shoot quite a few of the Lee TL bullets , both in my 45LC as well as my 41 mag & 41 GNR , matter of fact I just cast up a bunch for the colt and some to try in my my 44 mag . ( new mold )

Couple tricks for using the Lee Alox , first , cut the stuff by about 1/4 with rubbing Alc. it helps if fill in better and dry quicker . Once you get them lubed , place them base down on a peice of waxed paper to dry .

Before you put them away , just give them a very light dusting with some baby powder , this helps keep them from sticking together .
