Model 158
« on: October 10, 2010, 06:37:42 PM »
Just got a 158 today with 22 Hornet and 20 gauge barrels.  Sure is lighter than my newer 22 Hornet barrel.  This was a gift from a friend, was a lot of surface rust on it when he got it.  He cleaned all the bluing and rust off and reblued both barrels, turned out 100% better than it was.  Think this one will live at the cabin.  DP

I fitted a 158 30-30 barrel to an SB2 frame:  looks a little funny with that extra bit of standing breach sticking up behind the barrel, but it shoots great and makes one fast handling sweet little woods rifle.
