.410 barrel question
« on: September 09, 2010, 05:03:49 PM »
I bought a 20ga/22lr Rossi Youth Combo with an additional .410 barrel a while back off of here. As it turns out the .410 barrel is not the right barrel for the frame, it has a much smaller diamiter than what is required for the frame and even though it locks up the fireing pin doesn't strike the primer. Dos antone know which rifle this barrel fits and does any maybe want to trade for another barrel that would fit the frame I have?
             Thanks, Mike

It fits the Rossi 410 / 22 Combo rifle which is built on the smaller narrowed frame.  I have one that I made the shotgun barrel into a .22 Hornet and the 22 LR barrel into a 22 Mag.  I may be interested in the shotgun barrel that does not fit your frame.  Larry
A gun is just like a parachute, if you ever really need one, nothing else will do.

Do you still have your 410 barrel.  I have a 20 gauge barrel I'm willing to trade.  My frame was too small for the 20 gauge.  Thanks.

Aloha Mike,  I received the .410 barrel in the mail today in great shape thank you.  I've been shooting 20, and 12 gauge shotguns for 35 years but this will be my first .410 shotgun.  First weekend of bird season coming up caught a cold so not sure I'll make it now for the opener.  >:(
Thanks again!  Ji
