Front sight fell off

Yesterday while at the range, the front sight fell off my .357 1894.  Has anybody else had this problem? The gun is less than six months old.  I contacted my dealer yesterday and he plans on getting this handled today for me, I'll be sure to post the level of customer service I receive from both the dealer and from Marlin.

I gave my gun to my dealer yesterday to be shipped back to Marlin. I'll be sure to post the turnaround time for the repair.

I got my gun back from the dealer saturday. Actually, it wasn't my gun, Marlin decided it would be easier to give me a new rifle instead. There was a delay in returning it as my dealer needed to locate an appropriate shipping carton, since I'd discarded mine. Then, there was another SNAFU when the gun was shipped to the old factory, after which it neede to be shipped to the new one. In all, the turnaround time was 8 weeks.
I've yet to fire it, I hope to make it to the range this weekend. I'll post a full report when I do.

Just got back from the range, everything is A-OK.  This new gun actually has a smoother action than the one I originally had, and it shoots spot on.
