LEUPOLD VXII VS VXIII
« on: October 22, 2010, 08:42:09 PM »
Just talking about the scope---no depends on what your using it for/on--etc.
Comparing the VXII 4-12x40  to the VXIII 4.5-14x40
Is there enough quality difference to justify the added cost.
I think there is-----what do you think?
Blessings

Hello Will,

Yes I think there is.  I'm becoming very fond of the 3.5x10x40 VXIII.

There is a significant difference between the vxII and the vxIII.  There is even more if you go with the vx3 which is even better than the vxIII.  I believe the jump in light transmission from the vxII to the vx3 is from 92% for the vxII to 98% for the vx3.
