Congrats.  I used to have an a Mustang before my current car.  It was always good to me.  Only ended up replacing it because it was nearing 200,000 miles and had a ton a scheduled maintenance up and coming.  Regret selling it now - you can do a lot of scheduled maintenance for a car payment :).

Good car though - enjoy it! :)

Yes, and yes, I am an old man going thru a change of life---and---screw all those who don't have the B's to do it. ;) ;D :-*I am operating on a balced budget format---when I die I don't want anything left. ;) ;D :-*
The change made sense too me. I can't lift and haul anymore and we never had the rear seats up as my wife had planned.
It gets good milage---and---oh hell-I wanted another one before time runs out.
Curse me or bless me--it matters not.
YUP--it is the .4.6 and I rellay don't want to be tempted too find out if they are all there---I wonder though :P.
My grandaughter has taken over the car---I may keep it til she can drive and I can't and give it too her.
Julia knows how too work me---dang it all.

You have to do it. Maybe on an open highway with a nice straight away. Can't let those ponies just sit idle. In time your temptation will get the best of you.

Have fun with your car, nothing wrong with an older person getting a car like that. I would much rather have a car like that than a Volvo, Caddy, or Lexus.

That will be a great car for driving up the BR Parkway!  Top down, enjoying the scenery.

Agreed with it being a sharp car but it may not be what you are looking for out on the open road.

Mine was the Mach II of 1978, kind of anemic but still fun to drive with the stock 302. Made a 2k round trip in it once and it was much less comforatable than my pickup truck. I think that this was because of the greater height that the pickup had between the floor board to the bottom of the seat.

Same holds true for me today. I would much rather ride in my little XLT Ranger than the Wifes 2004 Bonneville because of the floorboard to seat clearance.

That car will be a blast in the Blue Ridge . If ya make it to Va. try the Skyline Drive . You do know the 2nd or 3rd week of Oct. is the best to see the colors and not to hot .

Nice ride. If I had my way either a Mustang or a new Camaro would be sitting in my drive right now. Unfortunately my wife has severe rheumetoid arthritis that put a damper on a sports car. Guess you have to comprimise on your wants and needs for the love of the wife. Maybe someday down the road, but for now I think I made a good decision.

It is going to be interesting, seeing how it rides. Now the ride is pretty smooth, but, I agree it will never be as comfortable as the Expedition.
What we have figgered out is that we are going to make the days travel shorter. In stead of getting on up int Tenessee the first day we are going to Georgi or somewhre short---and do that each day. we will probably even take a break for a couple of days going and coming. My wife wants to stop in Destin on the way back.
It is just time and we are going to stop rushing.

The Pony car has 13000 miles on it now and it is still fun.
Ann, the Hen who must be obeyed, said as we were coming home from the Blue Ridge that she was amazed--the ride was as good as the Expedition.
I rarely put the top up when I drive----I bought a screen, see "Love the XXXX DRIVE" on the web, that prevents the back wash and you can cruise at 80 talk or listen to the radio.

WL, would like more info on the screen you speak of please.  A search for "Love the Ride" gets me nothing but a lot of strange sites about half of which are porn.
