The fore end screw can be had in a hardware store, 1/4 X 28 and 1" long if you have the long, beefy, stock fore end. I haven't tried too many different projectiles but you should try the REAL bullet since you have the mold. Your round ball mold may be too small. You would have to use like a double thick patch. I use a .57 round ball and a .15 pillow ticking patch. I use tripple 7 in all my muzzleloaders, FFG in the .58 with 80 grains by measure. I always come back to the round ball which the slow twist rifling was designed to handle. Good luck with it. They are fine rifles.
