hillbill, Ruger made a limited run of SS 7.62x39 rifles AND a limited run of blued rifles in the same caliber. The blued ones were released this year. I've shot my friends blued version and it's a very good shooter. I'm not sure of the bore diameter, but I think that it's .308. It ran approximately $410 when he bought it. MI VHNTR

hillbill, Davidson's was carrying the blued/old style synthetic stock 7.62 rifles, but I think that they had sold them out. There still could be some floating around though. My friend tried the Wolf ammo in his rifle and it shot groups that were not the best. It shot much better with Remington/Federal ammo. I got this from the Ruger website. It was under special edition rifles:

Sub-Type: Centerfire Bolt Action
Family Name: M77 Mark II Ultra Light
Gauge/Caliber: 7.62x39
Finish: Blued
Stock/Grip: Black Synthetic Recessed
Barrel Length: 20"
Rear Sight: None
Suggested Retail Price: $ 0.00
