Can't remove locking block pin on my new 26

 Sorry if thats not the correct name for this.....Anyhow I WAS gonna take the gun apart for the 25 cent trigger job, unless I get a lot rougher than I have the larger of the two pins in front of the trigger is not coming out.  I've never seen one stuck like this, to be honest I'm afraid  I'll break something if I pound it too hard.

Don't pound on it hard!  While you are pushing the pin from left to right with the tool, wiggle the slide release lever forward and backward.

Old thread, I know, but still worth a reminder: 

NEVER USE A HAMMER (OR A KNIFE BLADE) ON A GLOCK - PERIOD.
