Happy Thanksgiving to all you Cannoneers out there!
« on: November 24, 2010, 09:03:28 AM »
Going to be busy with about 45 people tomorrow, so wanted to give this little Thanks, and Thanksgiving, to everyone on this Forum. I always enjoy all the posts and comments, pics, ect, and hope to do so for many more years to come! Especially want to remember our Wounded Warriors, and all our guys and girls in uniform helping to keep our Liberties and Freedoms safe at this time. You all take care, and if your shooting this Holiday, do it safely! "Keep your powder dry!" ~~~~BoomLover

I have had a wonderful time for the 4 days+ I have been logged in.  All of you folks are the best and I wish you a Happy Thanksgiving.

While travelling and cooking please remember to be safe.  Remember, accidents happen while cooking too.

dont talk about it , the kitchen can be a very dangerous place .

I just cut myself in the hand when a bottle cracked while I was pressing the cork in place

OOOOOWWW!

Hope it heals fast.

Working Thurs/Fri.  off to Ft. Lee and Petersburg area Saturday, back Saturday night.
Not a 'normal' holliday', but fun is planned.

it wasnt that serious , so I hope it will heal by itself .
just took some tape to hold the cut together
but it still show that it aint only when shooting cannons we need to be careful

this is part of the christmas glögg that I started 10 months ago
wasnt able to bottle any more today , the other 35 bottles need to wait a week or so .

dont even think about drinking alcohol and fire your cannon

You're a good man BoomLover, and I can't say it any better than you did, so a simple Happy Thanksgiving to all.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.
