horton summit 150 question

i am just starting out in crossbows and have one of these bows , i know its not the best in the world but its something new to play with but when i bought it it didnt come with any instructions or owners manual and i am wondering what does the dial above the trigger do? its marked 0 -9 any help would be appreciated

I think this is what you are looking for. Page 20 will tell you all about your Dial-A-Range.
