Halloween with the Graybeards!
« on: October 30, 2010, 05:27:37 PM »
We had a blast roasting hot dogs and marshmallows.  The kiddos are settling in to watch a scary movie before night time.  We were dressed as a Medieval family.  Graybeard made a better Merlin than Matt, but our little King Arthur and Knights of the round table were too cute!

Looks like a good time for the kids (young and old). Bill even looks a little more clean cut than his profile pic.
I was gonna guess he was Arthur, very cool.

I cold-blued a katana once... and have samurai statues on my gun/loading cabinet.  samurai and ninjas are cooler! (the kids ARE cute though).

gonna shoot them pumpkins up tomorrow?  THAT's the good part of halloween for me (freebies from everyone).

Here are some larger images that I've run thru Photo Shop to enhance the lighting and constrast a bit. I cropped them to better bring out the subjects rather than the background as well.

Nope. They are a wee bit young yet to be shooting real guns. The littliest one does have his own Daisy Red Ryder bb gun but he can't take it out and can only play with it when he's down here under close supervision. Matt and Heather will have to decide when they are old enough and more importantly MATURE enough to shoot some real guns.

No shortage of those around here tho when they get old and mature enough. Pumkins tho are in real short supply around here as in none here.

I talked a guy that owns a local pumpkin patch into giving me his throw away pumpkins.  I plan on going to round them up in a day or two.  I don't know when I'll shoot them up yet but soon (I gotta make sure I'm not scaring deer away from anyone's soon to be "spots" for rifle season).

and no, they won't be saracens (just civilians)
