I got in on the first lottery (by 5-31-10) and believe that there is three more lottery's?

You will probably be ok as the auto Insurance company's are putting a lot of pressure on the DNR to issue permits as those company's cannot sue a dead deer when it comes to repairing your car.

You should be alright.  Last year, I missed the first application and got in on the second lottery and still got what I wanted.

I just checked the DNR website and saw that I got both tags for Mason county firearm that I was wanting.  Now I am going to send in for the second lottery on the blackpowder season.  You can use those tags on the second shotgun season, the blackpowder and then the late season as well.

I applied for extra tags in Johnson county. I'm pretty sure I'll get them.

You guys that are IL residents should have no problem. I do the out of state thing, usually for one either sex tag & do O.K. Of course we get in line behind you. Usually before season I add a few anterless tags, up to $25 now. Anyhow I mounted a 1.75-6 Leupold on the Knight and will be ready to go.

I got a refund. >:(
The website says they are selling leftover tags "over the counter". What does this mean? At the DNR website? Sporting goods stores? I sent them an e-mail asking the same question but they probably don't have the budget to answer.

I got a tag at a local vendor for Johnson county. I was getting kind of nervous for a minute.
