Michigan changed on Nov. 2nd.
« on: November 06, 2010, 09:50:24 AM »
I'm still in disbelief on how the state I live in changed after election day. I live in Michigan. Everything from the high courts, both state houses, attorney general, down through every office below, including all the township offices in my area....went from blue to red overnight.  I just heard today our local AM radio talk show station just gave the boot to a couple of progressives that were on from 9 to 12 am...putting in Glen Beck in that time slot. Hard for me to even comprehend all this happening at once everywhere. This seems rather strange that so many people got the boot all at once.  Unemployment went up for a lot of progressives here.

I still can't believe it...happened so fast my head is spinning yet, along with most everyone around us.  I have never in my life seen this before in this state, or run so deep into so many other offices.

I wouldn't get too excited just yet. They haven't taken office yet, and haven't performed any miraculous changes in how the business of government is conducted either.

Ya, I ain't holden my breath or anything, but after all those years of absolutley nothing to look forward to at least something changed a little bit.
I figured the only change would be the governor and a couple seats here or there.  I guess I'm thinking what happened is better than everything staying the same.  We at least like the fact people were given the boot.

I live in Minnesota and we got a blithering idiot for a new governor. Socialist democrat. Tax and spend democrat. Failed US senator judged correctly to be one of the most incompetent senators ever. Mark Dayton.

Yes, but you Minnesotaians have the distinction of being one of the few states to have a Muslim for a Congressman. You have a leg up there when you go sharia law, Michigan only has a Muslim town, (Dearborn). We of course only have the Mexican border, with all it's wonderful perks, such as, street gangs, drug wars, and missing Americans.

Nothing personal, I would prefer Michigans problem over yours.

More signs of another Great Awakening! Same here in NM, partially. Hard to convince the progressive Northern part of the state!
