What kind of CZ is this?

.380  DAO CZ.   Note hinge on front of slide.  No safety.  Says E7 (?) 39 on side of frame.

Nicely made all steel handgun.   Ever see one before this?  What's the story?  Thanks!

Does anyone remember the scene from "Quigley Down Under" showing the aborigines lined up on the skyline as far as you could see?   That needs to be US!

It may be a Chech model but I might be a CZ copy of a earlier DAO Hungarian military 380, possibly a Model 37 (but I'm not sure of that).  A friend had one years ago and although smooth, the trigger pull was nothing to sing about and accuracy as I recall was obamish, er sorry, mediocre.  It is certainly a robust pistol but way oversized for the caliber.  HTH.

Its a CZ38 in 380acp i'm sure i been seeing these for sale all the time lately. "38" thats 1938 so its model 38

You did great Mikey I been surfing the net everyday for deals on guns and what models are available at what price.  Plus i'm collecting CZ pistols.  I'm going backwards from cz85 down to cz50 now.  I been hesitant to go lower but someday soon i will.

Go to gunsamerica or gunbroker and search the makes and models for prices.  Trust me the prices may scare you on these.
