thats a good price. compared to what i was looking at thanks,  most people use 1/8 in angle iron for the edge guards right?? I am going to get the wood next week. and hope it doesnt rain so i can get the boxes  together and in the barn.

I get my copper from a roofing supply company and sheet metal from some one who bends metal.

I also get copper nails from a roofing supply company.  You buy them by the pound.

http://www.ohiotravelbag.com/  has lots of "trunk" hardware that you might be interested in... hinges, locks, etc.

They are wholesale only, but I have an account and can get stuff to you at my cost.

I use onlinemetals quite often and they are very good. An interesting selection of materials and they specialize in small quantities. I am lucky enough to be able to stop at their will call and avoid shipping. beech
