Remington pump
« on: January 08, 2011, 08:06:29 AM »
For awhile I thought this was going to be just the Remington PUMP forum , since that was pretty well what was being overed .
To those of us late to bloom , I wish I would of had tried them thirty years ago, but I do enjoy mine now .

Has one ever seen a book on how to take these guns apart . I see how to take the trigger assembly down , but I would also like to take the forarm down , and also where is that O ring to stop the rattle ?

The o-ring is inside the forearm tube.  The tube and the barrel are removable, but you may have to apply a little heat the the barrel area around the receiver to loosen the thread glue.  I have taken these pumps apart and they are easy to maintain.  The biggest downfall is the trigger and you can send it off to have it tuned.  Good luck and enjoy.
