8x57 Mauser Sierra 200 gr. HPBT

Any one have an workup data for the 8X75 with Sierra's 200 gr. HPBT.  I plan on shooting vintage matches and would like to see if the Mauser shoots better than my Swiss K-31.  The rifle is a new never fired M-48A that I purchased about 10 years ago.

I think I'd try something a little lighter than a 200 grain bullet for competition shooting - you'll be firing enough rounds that the steel buttplate on that stock might get a bit abusive...  ;D

I tried the accuracy load that Sierra suggest 42.0 grs IMR 4064 for the 200 MK and it shot really well. Those rifles do prefer the heaver bullets. You can probably take this to the bank. IT AIN'T GOING TO OUT SHOOT A K-31 NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO.  ;D The only rifle that I have found that will hold it's own with a K-31 is the 96 Swede 6.5X55.
