Rem. 660 in 6.5 rem. Mag?
« on: December 12, 2010, 05:44:25 AM »
I am seriously looking at picking up a very nice Remington 660 in 6.5 Rem Mag I currently have a Ruger MDL 77 chambered in 350 Rem. Mag and I figure with this 2 rifle battery I can handle anything I would ever hunt in here in North America. I have always had a soft spot for the 660 and 600 and  I figured I might as well get one when I can.

Does anyone out there shoot the old 6.5 Rem mag and if so how do you like it?

I think they are cool but I would stock up on plenty of brass

No problem there I bought over 400 pieces of new un-primed brass for both the 350 and the 6.5 at an estate sale. I all ready owned a 350 Rem. Mag and had all ready decided to get a 6.5 when the right deal came along.
