Home made stock
« on: March 14, 2011, 02:59:47 AM »
Wondering if anyone has made a *bare bones* stock for their handi rifle or shotgun? I`m thinking of making a light weight, frame type stock from either steel bar or aluminum tubing. A folding stock is what I`d really like...... Perhaps a folding stock from a Rem 870 could be modified to fit a handi??

There seem to be a few that have made mods to their stocks, but few, it seems have made a stock from scratch.

Anyone made one?

Not quite like you're thinking; but I had in mind using the strong lam. factory stock and cutting out the center of the butt area; it should lighten up a bunch.
