While going through my reloading equiptment I found two boxes of primers that are quite old. Do primers go bad? They have been stored in a reletively dry area.

You should be fine, however be sure to research that the load data that you choose will be safe with that model of primer. Many have been discontinued over the years and replaced with others with similar names or numbers.

If the data is good, then the primers should work fine.

Personaly I would soak them primers in a vat of oil and get rid of them.
Primers are not that much and the little you save is not worth trashing a nice gun

The worse the primers will do is not go off. If they have been stored properly in their original containers they should be good even after 30 or more years.
