.22lr brl

hey guys im thinking of getting a .22 brl for my encore and the ?s are
1.   which brl do i get that i do not  need a diff. fireing pin set up
ive seen offset and reg looking brls i dont have a clue
2. do i need a spiecal forend for the offset brl
and can you guys with the .22lr brls tell me how good they shoot with shorts longs and the lr

Same forend as the standard barrel.
The bore is offset not the barrel.
Same receiver and firing pin.
