.243 Handi Bags a 9pt.

I just got done skinning a small 9pt.  This was my first kill with my .243 handi and boy was I impressed.  I made a shoulder shot about 50-60 yards.  I was shooting 100gr. Core  Lokts.  He ran about 50 yards through a thicket and killed over.  His insides were a wreck.  A lot of blood shot meat behind the shoulder on the rib cage.  I won't under estimate the .243 again.

 I had the same suprise. I shot my first this year with the .357 maximum. I will be pickier about my shots for now on. But on the bright side another Handi brings home supper. Good Job!

 Yup the 243 is a fine whitetail caliber.
