More better 308 target (pic)
« on: November 27, 2010, 03:14:40 PM »
 ;D
Looks my 308 like Boat tails better than Flatbase, I posted a target awhile back with just over and inch and was happy. I had beat myself up all summer trying to get 150's to fly, only to get advise here that 165 are generally better
 This is the 168 SMK at 100 with a bagged bench supported hand hold on the forearm;

That's a 5 shot group guys!  ;D averaged 2652fps  woo-hooo! :D
Gotta love that Varget too,, :)

looks great to me
I keep my 165 hornady SP or \Remington 165 corelock around the same FPS in my 30-06 easy on the shoulder and hold outstanding groups.

Boattails were my very most accurate bullet in a 270 I had too.
