Spikehorn jr. decided to go for a mid day sit in his treestand. At about 12:45 a hunter across the road started shooting and spooked the buck right up the edge of the field my son was sitting on. He took a 25 yard running shot. The 2 3/4" buck hammer enter the rear of the passenger side rib cage and exited just behind the drivers side shoulder. It turned both lungs to jelly and put a big hole in the heart. The buck ran about another 50 yards and piled up in the field. it was a crotch horn with little inch long brow tines, and one antler was broken off. Its his second buck. I couldn't be more proud.
