Wow! Best Iron Bowl ever.  Down 24-0 at Alabama and fighting back to keep the national championship hunt alive!  Geez, Auburn is really a 4th quarter team!

That was an awesome game.  As a Crimson Tide Fan I could NEVER cheer for Auburn, but as an Alabama gal I'm not heartbroke they will be going on to the Championships.  It will be nice to see an Alabama team take the National Championships this season, even if it is Auburn.  :D

Both parent wents to Auburn; I graduated from Auburn.
I grew up thinking I could never cheer for Alabama.

Then I married an Alabama girl (a mixed marriage).

Now my son attends U of A on an academic scholarship and plays in the Million Dollar Band.

Last year I pulled for Auburn to beat Alabama, but on Alabama's final drive I realized that if they scored, my son would get to go the BCS National Championship. I acquiesed, they scored, he got to go to Pasadena. We have a photo of him in his MDB uniform in front of the scoreboard at the Rose Bowl saying BCS Championship. That picture replaced the graduation picture on the mantle.

But that was last year. Its time to get your hands up for a big WAR EAGLE.

I realized it was short-sighted to want Bama to lose. The BCS rankings are based on how your opponents fare. I want all of Auburn's opponents to finish with one loss, including Bama and who ever it was we played for homecoming. Look for Auburn to move past Oregon in the BCS based on Alabama's previous performances, now that Auburn has that W on the books.

GR,

I thought the Taliban were going to play the NY Yankeesin an international goodwill exhibition game.  LOL

Being a Volunteers fan, I gotta root for Auburn in NC game.   No doubt the SEC rules NCAAF.

I never understood why Auburn was replaced by Oregon as number one by the BCS, but it really makes no diff. who's #1 or 2 going into the final game. After the smoke clears, the Roar of the mighty Tiger, will be replaced by the even mightier......................QUACK! ;D
