New Dan Wesson Revolvers
« on: May 17, 2010, 04:59:44 PM »
I spoke to Dan Wesson at the NRA Convention and was told they are going to start making revolvers again next year.  They will initially be made in 357 as that is their most requested caliber and will see after that. Hope it comes to be.

There's a gentleman on danwessonforums.com that's tooling up to make after market barrel/shroud combo's for DW's of various lengths and calibers.  There's several of us on his waiting list, as his prototypes look quite good and he plans to sell his at a competitive price.

Sounds great the 8" is a little much and they are largeframe pistols and for carry would make me look like I was carrying a grapefruit under my armpit in a shoulder houlster.:)

Got mine back in the early nineties and ther was not a option for a pistol pack with asorted barrel lengths and was a little upset that I missed the boat.I searched for extra barrels and shrouds and run across pistol packs but only needed barrels and they sold high.Sweet shootin pistol, it was my first large bore had 2 friends one had a Colt and the other a Ruger 44 Mag and mine a 744 VH stainless we set 25yd pistol targets out to 100yds and all mine were in the black and theirs were somewhere in the woods,I had shot mine more and was useing my handloads and it made a diference.

There's a better way to carry those BIG'ens:

The Biannci HUSH system comes to mind as well.

Let me endorse the Simply Rugged holsters noted in an earlier thread.  The quality is very good as is the customer service and the price/value.
