Sorry, don't know what the "M" stands for but someone on this forum will. I just ordered a 527 carbine in 223 that should be here next week. I'm glad to know that the rings come with the rifle because it's difficult to find other rings that fit correctly. I have a 527 varmint in 204 and the CZ rings are the only ones that seem to fit well. I've killed a lot of coyotes with my 204. I'm hoping the 223 will work on hogs.

Good luck with your new rifle.

I have one of those in 7.62X39 as well as several other CZ rifles and they all shoot better than I can shoot them.  I know this because a friend of mine tried out my little 7.62 carbine with the same ammo I was getting around 1 inch groups with and his group was closer to 1/2 inch at the same range.

M is just an upgrade model, improves the aesthetics and ergonomics of the original 527 with a redesigned trigger guard and detachable magazine as well as improved grip geometry. They used to be only flush fit mags when I got mine. Don't know if they are coming that way or if yours is aftermarket. You have a very good shooter there.

WOW.  That wood is exceptional for a factory rifle.

How is it shooting?

Beautiful rifle. You sure won the wood lottery with that one.
