Are cracked stocks common on G2's ?

Just wondering? I bought a used 7 30 with a slight crack right behind the trigger guard. Doesn't look like it was abused. Also, I've seen a few stocks and guns with cracks for sale. But I do love the gun ! Do you think TC would do anything? I know they are about the best company in the industry.

never had a cracked stock on one but most are composite, best thing to do is give them a call thsy have a good warrenty

I have a couple cracked as if the stock is not machined wide enough for the G2 action.

If it is cracked TC will replace it Just give them a call nice people to deal with.

It is a problem with the Encores so I assume it could be with the G2 since they are similar designs.  They seem to crack at the wrist.

My wife had one break and I know a few others that have had the same problem.  One guy I know had a composite break when he fired a 300 Win Mag, left a bruise.

TC will replace it under warranty.  On my wifes they were out of walnuts and since it was in the middle of hunting season they sent me a composite and then when they got the walnut in stock they sent it to me and I sent the composite back.
