Rebore of a Ruger #3

Hello,
 I picked up a ruger #3 in .223 Remington, the barrel is corroded rather badly and I figured to have it rebored, but it shoots reasonably well as I found out with a test, so if my rebore won't work, I have a fall back position on keeping it as it is.
  My question is this, can you rebore a .223 into 32-40 winchester successfully, is there enough meat to make such a rebore?

These little rifles are very pricey on the used market.  If your #3 is marked .223 on the barrel and is other wise orginal.  I would have it relined to the orginal caiber.  The new Cryo installed liners are great.  It takes a very good eye to spot the liners.  The ones I have seen also shoot better than many of the original barrels.

If it shoots reasonably well as is, I would just shoot it as is, until it doesn't.
