hello everyone
i have one of those failures in engineering known as the sidekick ramrod, and since the threads are the wrong size for most accessories i have a thread adapter and i'm shooting hornady sst 250 so i have the special loading jag for it, all in all when the ramrod is collapsed and inside of the stock the ramrod extends about .75 inches past the end of the barrel.
i was wondering if the ramrod extending past the barrel can effect the accuracy af the firearm, i was thinking that the sabot might open up and one of the petals would hit the ramrod. is this an issue or am i just thinking too much.
Thanks Zack
