.410 shotgun books?
« on: December 24, 2010, 04:56:39 PM »
Just picked up a Mossberg 500 bantam and need to learn about it. Are there any books available about shooting .410? TIA

I don't know the names of any but do a search and see what comes up. I did once and found some interesting articles online about deer hunting with the 410 & slugs.

I like the 410 and own 2 doubles in that caliber. A old Stevens and a lefever. Both are in excellent condition. I always wanted a Winchester 42 but never bad enough to pay the coin it takes to get one.

Merry Christmas.  ;D

Thanks, Pastorp. Now to start doing some digging.  :)

After doing some looking around, settled on Layne Simpson's Shotguns & Shotgunning.
