"rapping the Fed"? Is that by snoop dog? ( ;) ;D).  I'm all in favor of the transperancy they talk about. klinton was torqued off about the whole thing because some of their empire building plans were disclosed. Too bad, got your hand caught in the cookie jar. Apparently she didn't learn anything from when her old man got caught letting the chinese into los alamos. If our gooberment needs too have that many secrets, what are they hiding? Operation outside constitutional boundries?

Well the cat is out the bag as it should be . Why should we (USA)  be involved with plots ? We should be stright with the world. We have laws and should follow them with the world watching. As to military secrets OK but they should not involve cutting others down and name calling. We should set the example not work 3rd world deals in back rooms. We look like a bunch of grade school kids.
If ya can see it ya can hit it !

I won't go so far as to say it's good, but I will say it's inevitable that such a thing exists. Information is so portable today that leaks are easier than ever to communicate. Security practices need to keep up with these trends.

By the way, I know a woman who had the same job as that private that leaked all this info. She said that they were threatened with all kinds of punishments if they ever leaked anything, and they were continually reminded of it.

Personally, I think this is a death pentalty case if that private turns out to be guilty. It is espionage, and it needs to be dealt with harshly. This is the kind of crime where death penalty can be a deterrent, and having a recent example is not a bad idea.
