Can Topper 158 be fitted with a new slug barrel?

I have a Topper158 with serial number AL (which according to the chart shows it was made in 1973). Can current slug barrel be firtted to this reciever ? Thanks for the info.

My pardner 410 and tracker 2 20 ga barrels didn't.  I had the same year Topper 158 in 30-30 as yours that came with a 20 ga Topper Jr barrel.  If you watch I've seen other shot gun barrels from that era come up on the classifieds from time to time - but not rifled barrels, smooth bores.  I actually sold the 20 ga barrel of mine in the classifieds if I remember right for $65.

The factory won't do it but you can. Check the barrel fitting instructions in the fag.

My 1974 model will take some of my newer barrels just fine.
