32 LOAD ?

Usually Green Mtn. sends loading data with their barrels.

But in any event you  can start with 20 gr. 3fg but don't go over 40 grains. At the 40 gr. load, you are loading at a 1 grain wt. per gr. of powder load. A .32 roundball weighs 40 gr. I think you'll find that your most optimum load will be somewhere down the middle. Hope this helps.

I have the same barrel. It is very acurate and I like it very much. I have had the best luck with a .312 hornady ball and a denium patch with 20grs. of T777 fffg. Also tried some pre cut and lubed patches I had  laying around and they worked well. The t777 keeps the fouling to a minimum. FFG swiss also worked well.Recently I tried 110 gr. maxi balls and they shot very well also, quicker to load when out in the field. Is yours a drop in replacement (IBS)?

My Pedersoli, Flinter, likes Swiss 3F, right at 17 grains, and a hand cast .311 ball, using denim, 6-1 Dutch method, but I think you'll have to experiment with your smoke pole to see what it likes, even the same brand can be worlds apart in their preferences. That's half the fun anyway. RR :D
