Cooking day!
« on: February 26, 2011, 11:32:45 AM »
Seems like I've been either cooking or washing dishes all day today.  Fired off a batch of cinnamon rolls, got a couple of chickens in the smoker with a boston butt and now getting ready to grill some steaks and roast some sweet taters! :D  DW stuffed some shrooms and we have some great friends coming over to help eat it all! 8)

I really wish you hadn't mentioned cinnamon rolls.   ::)  Gonna go mix up the dough tonight so they can raise twice and be ready to bake early in the morning.   8)  I need these like another hole in the head.   ;D  Smoked 20# of butt earlier in the week and froze most of it.  Prefer it fresh out of the smoker but it serves it's purpose when time is short.   ;)

We vac pack smoked meat for later when I fire it up.  I always figure the smoker costs the same to run whether it's full or 1/2 empty.  We actually like brisket better after it's been frozen that way, it seems to be juicier.
