How to catch a polar bear.

First, cut a hole in the ice big enough for a polar bear to just barely fit in.  Second, line the hole with peas.  Next, wait for a polar bear to take a pea then kick it in the ice hole.

Reminds me of when I lived in Wisconsin and gave ice fishing a try.
Cut a hole in the ice, dropped a line down the hole, sat there forever.....nothing.

A fellow comes by on a snowmobile, asks me what I catching.
Tell him.....nothing, no bites, nothing.

Fellow say "well, hop on the back we'll try trolling for a while."

I only went ice fishing just once. Time I got a hole chopped big enough for my boat, I was too tired to fish.

Well, I suppose things were a bit different back then, considering my father was born in 1894.

He said he used peas for fishing.

Said it was quick and simple way to get a mess of fish.

All you needed to do was take an open can of peas, sprinkle then out along the bank of a river or lake and when the fish came up to take a pea, ya hit em on the head.

A person of what ever you change the nationality too (Didn't want to offend anyone) was riding his snow mobile and he came across an ice fisherman he said have any luck the fisherman replied no, the person on the snow mobile said hop on we will troll awhile. Couldn't resist it Lou
