German Karbiner M16???

I seen a German Karbiner 8MM  M16 semi-auto  at the gun show today it takes the same 25rd magazine the MG-13(german machine gun) takes.  I never seen or heard of one before.  It looked awesome to see the short barreled rifle with a 25rd mag.  and model "M16".              BigBill
