Broke ice last year (12-26-02) for 3/4 mile to moving water, fished all day but managed 4 bites, 8 1/2, 8, 7 1/2, 7/14. Fishing was slow but did better the next week. Maybe I need to learn to count my tackle... Sharpen my hooks, get ready for next year.
