Anyone have anything good or bad to say about the DNZ scope mounts?

I just put a set of these on my blr. in .358 winchester and they seem very solid, accurate, and machined well.

I bought a set for one of my H&R handi rifles. I like it allot. Well made, well finished and strong. The ring screws are just a bit in the long side. The must be 3/4" long!
Isn't twice the diameter of the stud is the majority of the stregnth of the fastner?? A rule of thumb?
