I really like my Fox Pro.

No experience with Johnny Stewart. Is that the one with the different sound cards?

Compare the features of both.

Get the best you can get. Should last a long time. Good Luck!

I have the Johnny Stewart PM-4 http://johnnystewart.com/Updateable/update_display.cfm?pageID=87&categoryID=15 I've been driving the bluejays crazy in my back yard (in town) but have only taken it out once last weekend.  It is easy to use and works well.  I bought it from a memeber here for $100 in new condition with extra crow cards.  With the savings, I bought some more cards (four sounds each card) new for $20 each and ended up spending almost as much on them.

If you are lucky enough to find a deal on a used anything in good shape I'd say that's the way to go, especially if like me you are just starting out and want to keep the initial investment low.  I cannot comment on sound quality because I don't have anything to compare it to.  But my cousins dogs, the hawk and crows I called in last weekend, and the neighborhood jays think it's just dandy.
