Mini 14 scope

Not looking for brand necessarily, but rather type of scope.  What type would be ideal for anywhere from 25-150yds out?

I helped a buddy research this a while ago.
He needed a lot of eye relief for his mini 14.
There is a bushnell banner model that has the long eye relief.
Its called a shotgun model because the parallax is set short, I think 75 yards; which would be a mid point of what you are looking for.

As far as type, probably most scopes billed as shotgun scopes would be similar.
