I have a barrel to sell.  What are the accepted, or recommended ways of arranging payment for items sold on this site.  I have never sold anything on the internet before.  Thanks

the best thing to get in my book is a postal money order that way you can pay for the shipping and cash the check at the same time D Crockett

Reading the classified rules is required before posting in the classifieds, they pretty much cover everything you need to know, they're stickied in all classifieds forums.

Quickdtoo, I read the "new rules" and did not see any suggestions on suggested ways to pay, or receive payment for a transaction, other than to be sure to get proof of shipping the payment or product.  So, I thought I would ask how other member handle this.

Actual payment method is up to the seller and generally will be stated in the listing, postal money order is most often mentioned, GBO has no requirement tho, just recommendations for proof of payment and shipping. If you browse the existing listings, you'll see how others request payment.
