GB & Tim, I am asking a special favor in that you will allow this off topic here in the spirit it was intended.

It's almost CHRISTMAS and for most of us here at home it is a joyous time to spend with our family and friends, but don't forget that there are those that are not able to be home over the holidays.
Please take a moment and visit with our men & women in the military and let them know that we believe in what they are doing and that we wish everyone of them could be home with their loved ones.

Frank,
  In my 16 years in the Army, I have missed more Holiday celebrations with my family than I care to recall. :'( I am very grateful to be home this year, especially considering last week's debacle in Korea almost changed that. Thank you for the thoughtfulness of this post! It makes a difference in our lives knowing that we are truly appreciated and our sacrifices are recognized.

Dinny and Frank, I just want you to know our service men and women are always first with us.  We've been there, done that, got the shirt, got the hat.  Right now, with the economy and the Holidays we're short of funds, but things will improve and we'll be donating to our men and women in uniform again.  I wish we could bring them all home and turn Afghanistan to glass.
